— Who it is for

Three goals a course abroad serves

The same school runs different programmes. The choice depends on the goal, not the level.

Before university

Raise your IELTS

IELTS preparation and Academic English for those who are short of the score a university asks for.

For work

Speak with confidence

General and Business English for adults: 15 to 35 lessons a week, groups by level, starts almost every Monday.

With university in mind

A course, then a degree

Long programmes of six months to a year, after which you can continue at a college or university in the same country.

A short trip

Holidays with a purpose

Two to four weeks in summer or winter: classes in the morning, the city and language practice afterwards.

— How to choose

Five questions before choosing a school

The answers shape both the result and the final cost.

Question 1

How many lessons a week

15–20 lessons leave time for the city. 28–35 bring faster progress, but that is a full study load.

Question 2

For how long

Two weeks are enough to break the barrier. Moving up a level usually takes 10–12 weeks.

Question 3

Where to live

A host family gives more practice. A residence gives more independence and contact with students from other countries.

Question 4

Which city

A capital is more expensive and busier. A small university town leaves fewer chances to speak your own language.

Question 5

Do you need an exam

If the goal is IELTS, choose an exam preparation programme rather than General English: the classes are built differently.

— Schools

iBridge partner schools

We work with the schools directly. The cost depends on intensity, duration and accommodation — we will calculate it for your programme.

— Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much do language courses abroad cost?

The cost consists of tuition, accommodation and the school registration fee. Tuition is charged per week: the longer the course, the lower the weekly price. iBridge calculates the full cost for the chosen school and duration free of charge.

From what age can you go?

Adult schools usually accept students from the age of 16. For younger students there are summer programmes with accommodation and supervision.

What level of English is required?

Any: on the first day the school runs a placement test and puts you in a group from beginner to advanced.
